“New and improved” is the purpose of this switch from Blogger to WordPress. It’s been in the works behind the scenes for the past month. Take a look around and you’ll find much that’s familiar, if you’ve visited the Blogger version, but also several new features and conveniences. For example, you can view posts by category and use the search tool to find particular posts.
Archives links now come in three varieties. First, there are links to posts from the current month and forward, in our new WordPress incarnation. At least for awhile, only posts dated Dec. 1, 2004, and later will be in the Oh!pinion database and searchable from this page. For older posts, scroll down to “Archives B” and select by month. (To search older posts, use Google.)
For the third archives convenience, click the “Archives Page” link on the right-side panel. You’ll be whisked to a separate page containing listings, with post headlines and dates displayed. As you’ll see, the page is sortable. Note, though, that this page covers only Dec. 1, 2004 and newer posts.
Looking for a permalink? It’s now the post headline.
The comments setup is also much improved. Perhaps you’ll be inspired to share your impression of the new Oh!pinion. We’re anxious to know how it looks through your eyes  and browser.
