Biden: Bush & Co. could face prosecution

“If there has been a basis upon which you can pursue Quote logosomeone for a criminal violation, they will be pursued — not out of vengeance, not out of retribution, out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president — no one is above the law.

“We will not be stopped from pursuing any criminal offense that’s occurred.”

—Sen. Joe Biden, responding to a question about holding
Bush administration officials accountable
for violating the Constitution,
Deerfield, Conn., Sept. 3, 2008

Better late than never, if the rule of law is finally upheld, if President Bush and his neocon cronies at long, long last are held to account for what they’ve done wrong and failed to do right.

This should not be done out of vengeance or for retribution, as Biden said, but to get back to the rule of law and not of men.

This holding to account should also be done to negate some very dangerous precedents and to discourage future abuses of power. Because if it’s not done, you can be sure a future president of Bush’s arrogant, ignorant, “I’m the decider” turn of mind will come along to take up where he left off — and then advance the destruction of law and liberty to a point where future Americans might not be able to get them back.

The problem is, Chimpy isn’t going to be anywhere near here when his number comes up.

Check out his Paraguayan ranch. And anyone who doesn’t think that Georgia is his “just in case” due to the change in Paraguayan Governments hasn’t been paying attention. There would be a kind of karmic significance to Chimpy and Cheney having to live out their lives in Stalin’s birthplace.

I wonder if anything will actually happen to both Bush nd Cheny?

These guys are getting our combat ships in the mist of trouble with Russia by way of Georgia.

If anything these guys will destroy or start another war befor they are finished.

I just hope Biden is right before it’s too late.

Why does Joe Biden hate America?

A nation of laws, where nobody is above the law — what a concept.

We DO need to get back to the rule of law and away from the rule of men, especially those greedy men in GOP suits who would try to impose the RULE OF GOD on us, according to how they interpret such rule.

I dunno, LT… I sure hope something happens to Bush and Cheney re. their lawbreaking. Justice needs to be served. I wouldn’t hold my breath for it happening in their cases, but man, it would be sweet.

JR is right about the Paraguay thing. I think there is a great chance that Bush is going to use that ranch as a “bolthole” if Obama gets elected and we still have a Democrat-controlled Congress. For a long time this was mostly just a rumor and it was hard to find information on it. Now, if you Google “Bush Paraguay Land” or “Bush Land Purchase” there are many articles available about this. A good example is at

    http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index955.htm

and the article is called “US President Makes Massive Land Purchase In Paraguay Ahead of Expected War Crimes Charges”. Maybe it would be cool for him to get nabbed and have to endure some kind of military tribunal… heh!
