A chance to parade their idelogies to the American public. They never once focused on the hundreds of cases presided over by Sotomayer but chose to cherry pick but a few to try and make an argument for their own positions. I watched the better part of the first days grilling. It's obvious that this will continue along the same lines and the end result will be her confirmation no matter what is said. No real story here.
